JOHIN Alpine Premium Green Tea is a type of Green Tea planted and cultivated from the alpine mountains in China. Grown in high altitudes, the Alpine Green Tea will taste differently than your normal Green Tea. The roasted taste will be stronger; the aroma will be slightly smoky coupled with an earthy grassy fragrance. As it is grown in a windy and cold environment with an optimum habitat, the alpine tea leaves tend to preserve its purest form, giving you the most delicate tea aftertaste.
Better still, Green tea is known to have tons of health benefits. Research shows that green tea may improve brain functions, help prevent cardiovascular disease, prevent type 2 diabetes, increase fat burning and the list goes on. In fact, the rich antioxidants it contains may also help lower the risk of certain cancers such as prostate, stomach and breast cancer.
Chinese Tea generally do not have an expiry date. Although loose tea leaves do not expire, they would lose aroma and flavor over time. Hence, it is recommended to consume JOHIN Alpine Green Tea within 6 months for the finest consumption. However, do rest assured that as JOHIN’s tea products are of good quality, our JOHIN Alpine Green Tea has a shelf life for around 2 – 3 years!

Storage: Best advised to store in dry, cooling and well-ventilated places; avoid direct sunlight and sources of mold.
Gung Fu Cha Preparations:
- Warm a small-sized teapot with hot water
- Place one packet of Xiang Pao into the Gaiwan / Teapot and add fresh boiling water
- Leave it for 1 minute to enrich the aroma and refine the taste
- Remove the first brew of Alpine Green Tea brew it for the second time and leave it for 2 minutes
- Pour the freshly brewed Alpine Green Tea into the Tea Pitcher so an even taste for all tea cups are available
- Alpine Green Tea is brewed and ready to be served
- Repeat the brewing steps for 3-4 times until Alpine Green Tea’s aroma becomes lighter
